The UK Aptitude Test (UKCAT)

For Medical and Dental Degrees

The UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) is used in the selection process by a consortium of UK university Medical and Dental Schools.

The test helps universities to make more informed choices from amongst the many highly-qualified applicants who apply for their medical and dental degree programmes.

  • New Preparation Guidance

    Our pages on preparation for the test have been updated for 2013

    The advice is drawn from the outcomes of a survey of candidates in 2012.

    Available from the iTunes App Store with an Android version released soon.

    It features questions from all sections of the test.

  • New Test Centres for 2013

    We have opened new test centres in the following countries:

    Bahamas, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Mexico, Oman, Philippines

  • Bursaries 2013

    Bursaries are available to cover the full cost of the test fee

  • Registration 2013

    Registration went live at 9am UK time on 1st May 2013

    Candidates can now register, book their tests and apply for bursaries and exemptions.

  • New Customer Service Opening Hours

    The UKCAT Telephone helpline is now available 08:00 to 17:00 UK time,

    Monday to Friday, excluding English Bank Holidays or you can contact us by email.
